:iconsiamon89:
It was the time the Interstellar Traders Guild lacked the power and economic security [...]

Sick of all of this
The suffering and we just carry on
Isn't it time we care and lose the hate
Understand our fears

But we do all that we can
Justify the means to an end
Sorry you must excuse me
I've painted my own Mona Lisa
She's fixed everything
Now I'm spoiled beyond my wildest dreams

All of your Digital art is awesome! What is the basic time range it takes you do do something like this?

Thank you very much =).

Well for that specific render, Blind Faith, I suppose It took about 25-30 hours in total. But since I'm a beginner, much more of work can be done and will able to be done by myself in the future. And there is another factor, I had no idea but a round-plate-like object in my head when I was doing this, so I improvised. And improvisation takes a lot of time =). When you have something in mind that is ABSOLUTELY clear and complete, it gets much more faster, the modelling.

Wow. Have you ever made a digital piece that gives you a 360 degree view, or just images?

For a beginner I would say you did a great job! There are a lot of challenging angles out there.

Do you work with a company, or are taking schooling, or just doing this on your own? Sorry for all of the questions.

I take it you don't see object as just objects anymore. As someone who likes to draw, everything looks like lines that belong on paper to me.

Thats probably I'm studying architecture =).

Well besides the university, I'm completely self-thought and just began 3d stuff 2 months ago. This was our first year in school, so there werent any CAD lessons or etc... I took some lessons on lighting with mental ray though, on lynda.com, great source...

This is not a "360 degree" piece, but with small adjustments it could be. But e.g. if you were rotate the camera 180 degrees around, you would have to put a space or a planet image in the bottom, and thats impossible for me now as I have no idea how to create those kind-of scenes in PS or whatever program =). I tend to make "outside" pieces not "360 degree", and on "inside" pieces I try to make visible space as small as possible. But I wanna do it someday, 3d+2d would be great.

Wow, good luck with the architecture! Maybe I'll take a look at that site sometime. It sounds like it could be interesting. :]

With practice I'm sure you will learn how someday, or just push it aside. I wonder how difficult it would be to combine 3D and 2D, I know it's been done before.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner.

Heh no problem at all (=.

I think I might be pushing it aside, but I'm learning to create 3d landscapes/space using VUE that looks like a 2d BG anyway.
