I'm back to the Earth with this scene (compared to my previous scenes lol).

This piece is actually a technical exercise for me, sometimes I do that just to stay sharp, modelling everything myself, never using stock stuff, using less photoshop etc... But novadays I'm very into the "abandoning the world" concept, you know possible scenarios of abandoned places, so I decided to come up with something like that..

BTW A QUESTION: What would you call the material of the ground? I'm asking to see if I was able to create the effect I wanted.

The ground looks like air- or sand-blasted concrete that is being covered in heavy slate tiling.

This is pretty convincing. I'd leave out the hanging chains though. They seem irrelevant.

very good one !!!!... and the material of the ground... seems like concrete, but not finished. Or seems that have little stones in the compound. jajaj Hope you understand me, I have bad English :P !!

The scene is quite amazing! Simple yet tells quite a story!
The ground material looks somewhat sand-ish, but not quite, like very rumbly concrete or something o_O~
